I have been stretched today by my loving Father. After reading (Psalm 139:23-24) and praying that verse to Him, He showed me something in me that needed to be repented of. I have had more love of self in me than the love of others. Not that I have been this way for a long time, but it has just kind of crept in lately. This Psalm seems to be begging to be prayed daily in my life. Lord, show me where I have gotten off track. Lord, where is my sin? Where am I offending you Father?

The things God has been teaching me as of late all seem to build upon each other. I love watching God in His craft. He orchestrates every thing so well. The music fills my ears and I am drawn to the maker of the universe. This symphony is not to be missed.

Lord I know your music is always playing. I beg of you to keep my ears clear that I might hear it.

Luke 7:36-50

After reading these verses I started to think about this lady and the Jesus way to handle things. Here we see Jesus interacting with known sinner. We do not see Jesus condemn this lady and her past sins, but we also do not see him condoning the sins either. By this woman’s actions she is repentant of and broken because of the sins that she has committed. Weeping enough tears to wash the feet of her savior. Using her glory ( 1 Corinthians 11:15 ) to dry His feet. Doing the opposite of what culture would say to do with riches, by using expensive perfume to anoint someones feet.

Have you wept for your sins? Have you given up your glory for the King? Used your riches in a way pleasing to your savior?

This is where I am … I am forgiven much and I am honored to give it all up for my Jesus. How about you?

I am sitting in the LA airport headed to Brisbane. People watching and listening to the conversations around me. ( Go to the http://thebrisbaneproject.com/?p=201 ). I posted another blog entry there just moments ago about one family here. Wondering about the souls of the people around me has never really struck my mind as to something I should be thinking about. Now I start to wonder.

Am I doing what I can to show these people Christ, so that maybe they can meet Him. Does the very core of my being exude my saviors love. Can they see Christ in my life?

These souls are crying out …. What am I going to do about it?

Matthew 12:15-21

Many followed Him and He Healed them all. Healed them ALL!

Once Jesus healed all these people He told them not to tell anyone He had done this miracle. Why? To fullfil prophecy? I would wager to say no. Jesus is showing us a trait that is so hard to build in our lives. He is being humble.

Why do we do the things we do? Do we do them to achieve greatness? Surely this greatness is reserved for one among men. Jesus is the only one who has achieved greatness. How did He do it? (beyond the fact that He is God) … Humbly.

Look at why you do things today. Are they for God’s kingdom? Would you do them if no one would ever see them? Could you live you life as if nothing you did was for you?

Jesus has invited us to live such a life. This life is to be poured out for God by serving Him and others.

How’s your serving going?

Luke 5:27-28

So I have spent way too much time asking Jesus to come into my life when all along He has been inviting me to join Him. I beg Him to join me in my battles. I plead with Him to help me in my temptations.

Now finally, I start to understand. He loves me too much to join me in the world I have created. He wants me to join Him in the Kingdom He rules over. “Follow me”, Really? is it that simple. “Follow me”, Could you seriously be inviting me to follow you and be at peace?

Peace on earth comes through Christ’s invitation. Heaven on earth lived out through me. The Kingdom truly is near, if you will just stop looking in your manmade world and “forsake all else”.

What are you being asked to forsake today, so that you might follow Jesus?

So where is your head today? My faith is shaken, but not destroyed. My spiritual growth is stunted, but not stopped.

I will come out of this, my Christ is near and He will watch out for me. I am just tired of wandering around without a leader in my life. Someone to help guide me to Jesus’ truths.

Exponential growth is waiting for me and my family. I must make the choices that will be best for my family’s spiritual growth.

Sharing a common bound. This is the type leaders am looking for. Is this the type of leader God will send? How will I know when I meet this leader sent of God? Or has he already sent him?

How do I smother these flames of discontent in my head and heart. I can not sit idle and watch the things I do not agree with to continue in my life.

Time with my family (and others) is needed. Acts 2:46-47 Galatians 6:10

Pleading with Jesus … asking Him … not hoping but actually asking

Don’t bargain with God… ask Him for his help

On his way … sometimes when we pray and God blessed other people we get discouraged. Use other peoples blessing as a time of excitement that God not only blessed that person but also it shows you God is able and willing …. and on his way

There is no use… fear can lock you up or make you run away. Don’t be afraid … just trust me. Jesus is our our fear remover. No matter what the circumstances, trust him.

When you need God in your life … you need others around you who also need God in their lives.

Your biggest problems are nothing to God. Even the largest DEATH is nothing to Him.

Get up my child … and her life returned. Jesus spoke her life back

If God can resurrect a dead body he can resurrect anything. Finances,marriages, relationships

If you have a pulse God still has plans for you. If you have a pulse there is hope.

God cares about every part of your life . There are no sections in your life that are Gods …. he is interested in all areas of your life … he wants to be in every part of your life . Invite him into all of your life areas.

- goes back to leviticus 17 priest wash themselves to go before the Lord

- we have lost this in our culture. Sin is very serious
- if Jesus was without sin why did he need to be baptized
