I was driving home from church when I saw 2 fellows walking on the side of the road with tents and bags, which gave me the impression they may be living in those tents.
My original plan was to take these little heat up packets I had bought from Home Depot to the folks under the bridge and I was going to give your re-gift money to a co worker in need, but as I saw these guys on the road side, I decided to turn around and speak to them and pass these gifts to them instead. They were in fact homeless traveling from a different state due to lack of work opportunities. I was grateful to be able to bless them and let them know of some places to receive help and food if they came back from the mountains to stay in the city of Gainesville. They seemed very appreciative.

I'm a little late, but I didn't bury my money ;). I went to Wal-Mart tonight and like always, I pretended to be a cashier and checked my self out. I felt the Spirit tell me that I should leave my money in the cash return slot. I wrote on the $5 bill "Merry Christmas, Jesus loves you!!" I was going to go tell the attendant that the money can stay, but as I was about to talk to her, a couple that looked like they could really use it walked up.
God bless

For the past 3 years we have been praying for the brother of a close family friend. He has been battling cancer and this Christmas season the Good Lord stopped his suffering, by calling him home.

He was survived by a teen age son. Tomorrow we will be attending the funeral to help take up the burdens of this family. We decided to add to the reGift amount we received and we bought a bible for this young man. We plan on presenting him with this bible and let him know about the love of Christ that is always available to him in God's word.

Humbled to be able to use this reGift this way.

My husband and myself put our money together to bless a couple at a restaurant. My son, who is 3, and I had went to eat and the couple sitting next to us took a particular interest in my little guy. We made small talk throughout the meal and before the server brought my check, I asked her to put the couples check with mine. We paid for their meals without them even knowing it. :)

All week I had been thinking of a creative way to bless someone with a dollar. I had a few ideas, but none of them seemed like the right thing to do. I thought of tips, coffees, lunches, and other things. It was Christmas and I still had my envelope. Driving to my cousin's house in Atlanta, my step-dad and mom began to look for $.50 for the toll. I handed them the dollar and said pay for the person's toll behind us. We payed for the toll of the person behind us on the way home, also. I don't know what reaction of the person behind us had, but the impact it had on my step-dad let me know that it was what God had intended to do with the money. Just a dollar can brighten someone's day or change someone's heart.

We weren't able to attend the service due to sick kids, but we decided to do the reGift on our own. We had to make a trip to Athens to deliver kittens and stopped to eat at the Grill before heading home. Standing on the corner in the cold rain was an older gentlemen playing the flute for money. No one was around. We ordered him a cheese burger gave it to him while it was still nice and warm. Didn't have the cash to give him, but the smile was well worth it. Wished him a Merry Christmas and God Bless you..

We thought, discussed, and prayed for a few days on what to do...and what stood out to us was the Parable of the Talents. So, what we focused on was, "how could make our seed from Revolution multiply?" Next, to whom would we give OUR gift. Here is what we did...
We decided the way to multiply the seed money ($10) from Revolution was to buy a gift and raffle it off. We bought an iTunes gift card and our family members bought a ticket. We turned our $10 into $54. Next, who should receive the gift. We decided that we would stay close to home for this--in more ways than one. We chose a small charity that is right next door to the Georgia Mountains Center, Children's Center for Hope and Healing, http://www.hopeandhealingga.org/ If you are not familiar with them...
The Children's Center for Hope & Healing (formerly the Family %:3)Relations Program) is dedicated to stopping the cycle of child sexual abuse and to preventing the exploitation of children. So, we chose a place close to home AND more importantly we chose to Bless an organization that dedicates itself to a cause that our family has been unfortunately touched by...
It must have been a special time for her this Christmas...she was Baptized yesterday (Christmas Eve) and she won the raffle today (Christmas Day).
"Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them."
(Matthew 5:3) God has a way of driving the message HOME!
It gets better.....
We decided to make this (reGIFT the City) an annual event that our family will do every year.

I was on the way to my mom's house so we could be ready to leave to go to Columbus tomorrow. On the way there I stopped at Ingles to pick some stuff up. While there I stopped at the gas pump and gave my money to the attendant to put on the pump where I just saw a lady park. I didn't stick around to see her reaction. I hope that it was a blessing for her. I hopefully the money she was going to spend can be spent on something for her family for Christmas.

I left my 4 quarters in a coke machine so that the next person to buy a drink would be surprised to find their drink paid for when they collect their change out of the change returner.!!
